Info on this? Volk TE37SL center cap attachment

Volk just posted this on their FB but its kind of confusing. Does it come with a cap?

Does anyone have experience with similar products? Are the center caps easier to steal when used with these?

?
TE37SLs don't come with center caps, and we're never designed for it. These are an adapter so that you can use center caps.
Harder to steal? If someone wants to steal anything, they'll find a way

They are just the adapters so you can put center caps in because the TE37SLs aren't designed to have center caps

I had the ones from Racing Sciences - Products and they fit very well, didn't have any problems

DEpointfive0: Yea, the difference is that is a product designed from Rays themselves. I was confused at first because I thought it was a special center cap for TE37SLs. Turns out it is just an adaptor.

XiP: I've read that the one from Racing Sciences might cause problems if you're tracking cause the pressure builds up behind the center cap and it'll pop off. Looks like Rays took in consideration of that problem in their new product.

But I'm not really familiar with how the center caps work, do do they come off easily? Like if I took a screw driver to it or something, will I be able to pry it off?

They do not come off easily, I mean if you want it you can get it but honestly it takes a bit of work (faster to just take the whole wheel).

The caps slide in and are held in place with an o-ring. Definitely not the easiest thing to get out after its in even with the wheel off the car. (I've made that mistake taking product photos :( )

I wouldn't worry about someone stealing your center caps, now the entire wheel is a major concern depending on your area :icon17:
