Sorry, i thought maybe it had to be cut off or something. It's been a long stressful day. It's extremely good news to hear that the bolt can just be unscrewed and taken off. I guess I'll have to make another trip to a tire shop. So is the bolt on all four wheel hubs or just the fronts/rears?

Lol, all good, I just thought your NTB was retarded.

Just the front... I think... I took them off over a year ago, lol

Yeah see, that was my first thought too. When you mentioned how easy it was to remove i was dumbfounded that they were so incompetent. All in all, great news though and that brings my blood pressure back down. Thank you for the help.

Lol. No worries! Just be careful, if they're that dumb, they make say it's a safety feature or something and that they cannot remove it because it's a liability

Since you won't be reusing it, a pipe wrench or Channelocks will do the job.

It's just an indexing pin to keep bozos from swapping the front and rear wheels and has no mechanical purpose. Take it out and throw it away. Just make sure that whoever works on your wheels/tires can tell the difference between front and back (not a difficult job).
