Curb rash, pulling out of a metro parking lot...about 1 inch long, any prices/recommendations around the DC area?

If it REALLY bothers you, fix it. If not, I doubt anyone will really notice unless you call attention to it.

What would it cost to get that fixed?

I had the same thing happen when I pulled away from some mailboxes... Can't we just swap it with the spare and hide our problem?

My salesman told me it was a full spare... not true, I just checked. The rim isn't even close to being the same either.

I have similar rash and my local detail shop said $80. And I'm a regular patron there and the owner has cut me deals before so I know he was giving me his best price.

It's actually not quite as bad as mine so... maybe $60? But I can hardly notice mine so I'd also vote for don't bother with it.

how does it look after getting it fixed or whatever he did?

That's the problem with nice rims, you have to worry about getting them scraped and crap. The worst part is when your turning and you don't notice the curb or you think you cleared it, then all of sudden bam you hit the damn curb. Luckily i drive a 370z killer, my 1998 saturn sc1 and i don't have to worry about that cause i've taken off my hub caps.
