When I switched wheels, I realized that I had probably another 15k of life in the fronts, and maybe 3k on the rears. At this rate, I'll need front tires sometime in mid 2015.

The forum consensus is RE-11s or Michelin PSS. Weight is going to vary depending on the tire.

Ah i wasnt very clear in my question, i was asking for your opinion on tire size instead of the tire brand, sorry.

When I had sport wheels, I was looking to run 265f/295r. Now that I've got Nismo wheels, I'll probably bump that up 10mm. It all depends on the manufacturer. Not all tires that claim to be the same size actually are.

For strict DD-ing, you want PSS.

And PSS's are LIGHT. The lightest tire I have seen in any/every size

I was pretty set on the PSS until i read about the 9k-10k miles thread life. I will have to do more research between the two.

I loved my conti DW. 2 lbs lighter than the pss in my size and both are a max extreme Tirerack ratting. Cheaper too.
