Tire Making Weird Sound, Like it's Sticking to the Road
Hey guys. Little help please. Put my old tires on my new wheels and had the shop flip the thread. Now a week later I Noticed at low speed coming from a parking spot the front left tire sounded like it was sticking to the road. I stopped and found a wet looking patch and decided to clean it later. Figured that was it. Couldn't see the patch after I got home and just cleaned the tire to no avail, so maybe that wasn't it? It comes and goes but is so annoying. Even hear it on the highway.

It almost sounds like my indicator pad or maybe my poly sway bushing.. Sounds so ghetto. Can't wait to jack it up and see. No lift where I am now

Wow so my lug nuts were loose. I always re torque after driving but only torqued once since I was waiting to get my thin walled socket. Harbor freight **** wrench or my fault? At least it keep it behind the seat

Wow, good thing you found the problem before getting into an accident!

Thanks man!

just in case, you might want to remove the wheels off the car and inspect whether the hubcentric rings broke or not from the shifted weight caused by the loose wheels.
we've seen solid spacers with hubcentric lips built-in shear off. |
thanks a lot. i'll def. have to take the wheel off. other wheels were fine.
