Road Hazard Warranty??

I bought my car with about 13,xxx miles two months ago. I bought the road hazard warranty with it because it saved me $800+ on my precious car.

I understand what it covers; bent rim, hole in tire, etc. but how does the warranty work with buying new tires? Do I have to buy the same brand? as far as getting any aftermarket wheels... will that void the warranty?

Lastly; if yes to any of those, I believe he said you can cancel the remaining coverage if need be?

Thanks

All of that information is probably dependent on your specific road hazard policy. My familiarity is with warranties that cover one set of tires. When you get new tires, you get a new road hazard warranty for those tires. Aftermarket wheels would not affect the warranty I had. You may have something different, so I would check your coverage first (check with your dealer if you're using the Nissan one).

Also, if you have an Allen Tire near you they don't charge extra for Road Hazard so you might want to look into that

for me the last bent wheel was 1999.

last flat tire from puncture i couldn't fix myself was 2009.

the last scuffed wheel was 2010 which i could've had repaird for 150 or less, but just bought a new wheel with tire since i could keep the other one as a spare.

i would use your insurance to fix bent wheels under one car collision. insurance will cover up to 500 or something without affecting your premium.
