Toyo Tires RA1 for 18" stock wheels on a daily driver
There is a craigslist deal in LA for brand new Toyo RA1 275/35/18 for $200 each.
($269 on tirerack) My rear tires are about 30-40% tread life while the fronts are still in good condition so I was wondering if it would be alright to slap these on the rears of the stock 2013 non-sport edition wheels when they start to wear out? Thanks for your help! |
sidewall is shorter than oem spec so your car will be sitting lower in the rear. 275/40/18 would be OEM diameter spec that matches the 18" 245/45/18 rear tires on there currently.

What are you running on your fronts? Since you are going for 275 rears on stock 18" im assuming you went from stock 225 to 245 on fronts? I suggest you stay an even size or lower on the side walls. If you're fronts are 40 or 35 then the CL tires should be fine.
I do have a pair of Bridgestone RE760's with 85-90% tread left in 255/45/18 I'm planning to put up for sale soon. I'm thinking $140+shipping. Let me know. |
Thanks for the info guys!
@Andbui, that is a sweet deal. Better than the CL offer. Pm'ing you now |
