These wheels were manufactured by ENKEI and designed by a racing company that apparently went bankrupt. Since then these wheels were discontinued and offered to wheel shops for a discounted price.
The local wheel shop owner here in Melbourne Florida told me he purchased the entire remaining inventory of these wheels for .40 cents on the dollar. Again this is what I was told. It really didn't matter to me because I thought the wheels looked great up against the Z. Quote:

I included some pictures of the center cap and stamping on the wheel. Again, ENKEI stopped manufacturing this wheel design when the racing company went bankrupt. I hope this answers some of your questions. http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...6-img-9559.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...4-img-9554.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...1-img-9562.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...3-img-9550.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...5-img-9555.jpg |
A&L Racing was big in the import racing scene back in the late 90's and early 2000's. Some of you may remember Adam Saruwatari was the owner and he ran a FD RX-7 that was pretty damn fast, he also tried bringing a NSX to the track but the never seemed to get it dialed in or running right, if I remember right it was a full tube chassis drag car. When they were really popular they were already sponsored by Enkei and the did a partnership with them for some wheels, unfortunately it was also around the same time as everyone was getting into more aggressive offsets so they didn't really sell well. Explains why they were able to buy them so cheap vs what they were listed for.

Only reason I was curious what they were is because they are one of the wheels I have seen that I would consider besides the Forgestar f14. Too bad they are discontinued. They looks sweet.

17lbs a piece in 19's.....These could be worth money to some super extreme track guys. Those are lighter then the RPF1's and the TC105N's in 18's....
