G35 rays on 370Z
 

Hey all i had an extra set of rays 19 inch wheels off my g35 after i wrecked it. I decided to throw them on there just for a test fit and i kind of like it. I need new tires in the rear, and my drop is going on this weekend so i will post up some more pics when i get it lowered. They dont look bad at all. I ordered 20mm spacers for the rears to bring them out a bit and im thinking about getting them refinished hyper black.

Yup, doesn't look bad. Have any side shots to see the offset fitment.

not yet that was just a quick one from work i will get some when i get home. Its pretty off in the back it needs AT LEAST a 15mm spacer, but the fronts fit great, I think when i lower it the fronts will be tucked in perfectly.

not that it looks bad ... but why throw on less wide tires?

I plan on ordering forgestars next week, so this is just a temporary thing. Im not planning on keeping them on there or tracking the car with these wheels so the width wasnt a concern. I had them laying around and figured i would try it.

man those tires look tiny, what size are the tires on there? Otherwise the wheels look better than the set you were using last :tup:

Be ready to wait at least a month, maybe 2 for your forgestars, mine will be 8 weeks waiting on monday.

call up forgestar and ask, whats the hold up...ran out of metal?? or what??

My understanding is their finishes aren't done in-house, and they've been having some quality issues with the place doing them and have had to send a lot of wheels back to be refinished. That plus the sudden increase in demand that they weren't ready for...

and the price is pretty good for rims like that.......i'm sure prices are going to go up

Ya, that was my suggestion (only because I already paid, lol). I'm hoping they are shipping out today, last I heard they were on the schedule for yesterday but I haven't gotten a tracking number yet.

The tires are small, I am planning on putting some Pilot sports that i have in the garage on this weekend. They are the stock tire size for the 06 g35 coupe. THANKs for the headsup on the Forgestars, I am really looking foward to getting a set so i think ill be ordering them next week. Yea like i said these wheels are just temporary until i can get a new set. I believe if i am right on the sizing of the bbk, These should fit.

or you could get the used Set DDM has, i don't think he sold it yet.

what color forgestars are you getting?

I am going to go with the piano black finish I believe, or a hyper black, ( I would probably have to get those finished myself though) I am still deciding! But like you guys said, for the price I dont think you can beat the Forgestars
