tire advice for oem 19" rays

before that....first, i've already search the forum....

still need help in deciding which brands to purchase for my stock 19" z...

first option to purchase was the bridgestone tires.

i've read that the bridgestone tires have the best overall performance except i could not purchase it due to unavailability shipment to my country.

i'm looking for street performance tires only and grip is the most important factor.

can anyone please advise me on an alternative brand than the bridgestone tires?

Tire rack.com

Put in the size you want, OEM or a little bigger, and read read read some more. Find out what they say and what works best for a street tire. There are thousands to pick from.

I think you need to search more as this topic has been killed and burried by now, lots of Tire options that are better than stock, even different size setups too! Like going 285 or 305 in the rear.

Killed, buried, shot, come back to life, shot again, and reburied in a concrete shell

If you're looking at Bridgestone, you can continue to go with the RE050 (stock) tire if that works for you. If you're looking for more grip, you can look at the RE11. A superior track tire that is good on the street, but a bit of overkill if you don't plan on tracking the car.

If you want a purely streetable tire with excellent grip, the standout is the Michelin Pilot Super Sport. It comes in stock sizes and larger. It is a great tire for the street and can handle moderate tracking. It is costlier than the Bridgestones, but it is lighter, and better Street grip.

As others have said, if you go onto Tirerack.com, you can look at their surveys and tests based on what category of tire you're looking for. The Michelin PSS will be at the top in every category almost for Dry Street Grip.

OEM sized set, shipped to your door should be $1500~

i've tried to contact the main distributor in singapore but they could not sent it to brunei.

have you used it on your z, in our similar weather condition?

what's your advice?

sorry for the repost of the similar topics but one of the member disagree with the michelin pilot super sport. that's why i need to reassure myself before buying other brand other than the bridgestone.

i've noticed that the tires are not made from japan.

just wondering, if it can be use in our extreme hot climate roads?

afraid of blowout tires..safety first..
