Curbed Wheel Repair
Hey guys, somehow today I managed to wing a curb on my back left wheel  up until now I've managed to keep away from the pesky curbs haha. Anyways you all know the rage that surges through you due to shame, frustration, general annoyance at your own inability to drive :shakes head: lol anyways I've had a quick look through the pages in the service area and didn't see any threads about costs to getting a curbed wheel repaired (in the UK) there isn't any massive damage, the wheel isn't bent or cracked etc it's just a bit of curb rash (luckily) however where the wheel first struck the curb there is a little bit more than curb rash, as in it's gone through lacquer and shaved some metal off. Apparently forged alloys are harder to repair than standard alloys, so does anyone have an estimation for this kind of repair or know of a decent wheel man in the UK?
Look forward to hearing from you :) |
I saw this post and wrote up a DIY that i did a while ago to fix my own wheels. I dont have any idea of prices tho, im sorry.

the hyper silver finish is hard to achieve. best you let a pro fix it.
