Use 5 inch pieces of tape? and tuck the corners of what? into the crease crease? of the surrounding handle. Then paper for the area around the handle. I like to spray the handle down completely with a light cover and then hit the creases and interior parts of the handle. Then once that dries, I actually open the handle with my hand and spray into the part where your fingers go. Make sure you get on your knees and spray up and down into the creases. Dont worry about taping off the lock/open button or keyhole.

See questions in red bold. I'm planning on doing my handles, but that first sentence confuses the crap out of me. I was planning on just taping around the handles just like the emblems..

Haha I am going to do a video on how to dip handles. Probably tomorrow.

But you can tape around the handles like you would do with them emblems, but i like to tape the handles to the point where I am not spraying on the cars paint. It just makes it easy so I dont accidentally peel the handles dip.

Well, I feel like I'm drawing gang lines on how to change the color of my door handles. Ha.

Thanks for all the feedback. One of the primary reasons I'm using plastidip for any of it (wheels, handles, etc) is because it isn't permanent. I may think black wheels and handles are badass, but maybe the next person who buys the car doesn't. Plus, if it turns out craptastic or I just don't like it, I can just rip it all off. And I'm out less than a hundred bucks.

Also, I wasn't planning on removing the handles. I also heard they're a PITA, and was just gonna tape them off and spray 'em real good-like.

I used plasidip. Works like a charm and holds up extremely well. You can definitely peel off the center cap but make sure you don't peel off half the rim with it.

I had my handles dipped for quite some time. The key to the process is light, even, numerous coats that cover everything (in the hinge too for the best longevity). I pulled of the dip a couple of months ago because I felt like it, but it was fine. Great stuff. Use their pearlizer to add an awesome flake.
