TPSM's on Aftermarket Wheels

Was wondering how many people actually went through the trouble of installing the TPSM's on their new wheels.

As well as some suggestions on what is the best way to connect the tire pressure senors.

Strapped, or those extension things, etc..

Isnt there a way to trick the system so you don't have to place them on the rim? I thought I have heard people doing that.

You can get you some pvc pipe and put the sensors in it and pressurize it and have it in the car somewhere. Back when I had a Tacoma there were people doing that. I would just rather deactivate the whole system. People are that lazy to check their tires once a month or when they look low so they found a way to stick more junk on the car that is not needed.

in the past folks used pvc capsules, but the tpms sold these days (from wat i read) have centripetal sensors so you'd have to keep it spinning, otherwise they turn off to save battery power. i suppose you can mount i inside the tire and strap it to the barrel of the wheel.

Here in Hawaii, we have to. If your TPMS light is on, you automatically fail safety check here.

Probably going to have 2 strap them. Is it common for them to come loose? or they stick pretty well?

Nice I got the meisters, hopefully they will screw right in like yours did

I think you only need the adaptors with Work wheels when they are step lip. You could probably ask the vendor you ordered the wheels from they should know.
