Widest Tire possible on......

Guys,

Need your help in preparation for my wheels whenever they do come in.

My wheel specs for the rear will be 19x12 +28.

I've seen 345's but is that the widest?

I'm not looking to camber at all looking to get it squared up making all contact.

I'll be running the stock rear 275s tires on the front.

So what would be the widest tire possible given the specs above and keeping the speedo unaffected?

Thanks,
JC:tiphat:

You should become that guy and surprise us with the pics and answers. I can tell you that it's going to look silly and slow your car down.

Really? So all those with meaty tires and wide wheels look silly? The wheels weren't bought to race on that's what my welds are for. Thanks for your input and I'll be "that guy". LOL

Bump anyone else got 12's in the rear?

Folks with 12in. rears please chime need.

Need to get tires asap.:ughdance:

Is that the 325's the widest that will clear the rears? Wheel experts please chime in.

My wheels specs are in the first post. Thank you:tup:

I have 10.5 rears and have a 295 11" wide kdw2 on it and I know I could fit a 305, 315 and maybe a 325 so if your getting a 12" rim you should be able to get a 345-365. I don't think they production tires much bigger than that and even if they do your gonna spend a grand on each tire.... what's the point??? 295's or 305 look beasty as hell

I know I can get more than a 325 my question is given my specs above, is what size can I run that I will not have rubbing/fitment issue whether on the inside or on the outside on the fender.

As far as money goes.. 345s are $455-$600 per tire.

Go big or go home as they say...LOL..

Anyone else? PS I've ran 305 before already and I know it fits and my DRs/Slicks are 315s and fit fine.

I'm waiting for a wheel tech or someone who has a 345-355 tire and says it clears the rear no problems.

I haven't seen anything more aggressive than 345 but in 20's on a Z

http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...ed-redrum.html

Anything is possible with camber and or fender work

I'm looking to go no with no camber or stock specs on camber and no widebody...

Will it fit? Don't want to spend 1K+ on tires then when I goto mount them I won't be able to cause its too big or its hitting something.

I wouldn't follow down this path until you're prepared to add camber or make the necessary changes to your Z

Why do you even want such a massive setup? It's complete overkill unless you're running a high-horsepower FI kit?

305's are more than ideal for 99% of us

Sorry guys. I've just got back from an 8 day cruise in the Caribbean. :happydance: I'm running Mich PSS 275/35-19 on a 19x9.5,+25 and a 325/30-19 on a 19x12,+28. Stock height, with no rubbing.
