Last time i checked the SP1 was definitely lighter than a comparable BBS LM and the MS1 was almost on par (just a little heavier or lighter, i forgot).

They are all great wheels.

Don't forget about the SSR Type C-RS too.

I don't think that will ever happen. Some 18" wheels don't even fit.

Oh I know, that was my point - he said 15-17's. 17's is laughable, but 15's? This isn't a Honda, right? haha

what did they do?

sent him used wheels that the color didn't match on.

I've got the RPF1s on order, they should be here next week for test fitting.

lol they weren't used, they got scuffed up in manufacturing along with a bunch of other orders. They have since changed their manufacturing processs. Most orders got caught in quality control but Dave's unfortunately fell through the cracks and were sent out with the scuffs.

well thats good to know!

RCZ, do you remember what the offsets were on the RPF-1s that "fit great"? I want to use these on my car. Also, do you remember the width of the rims?

Thanks. :tiphat:

agree with raul on the enkei's...
Enkei High Quality Wheels - Racing Series : RPF1
can get these in 9.5/10.5 in a few different finishes at a great price

Waiz 10-23-2010 10:46 PM

Enkei's are a great value and some of the lightest for sure!!

Diocletian 10-24-2010 09:55 AM

How much would a set of those enkei's cost? Assuming 18x9 in the front and 18x10.5 in the rear.

Edit: Oh damn Tire Rack says $1374 before shipping for silver finish.

OMGWTFBBQ 10-24-2010 11:43 AM

Hey Diocletian. Try contacting some of the other forum sponsors for a quote on the Enkei RPF1's. They can both offer you advice regarding sizing/offsets and possibly give you a better deal than Tire Rack can.

Hint: Try contacting "DriveLineEric". ;)

RCZ: I also sent you a PM. Please, can you be specific on the RPF-1 offsets that you know definitely fit. I have long thought this wheel was one of the best bargains for high-performance applications, but others give conflicting advice. Mason at Tire Rack has discouraged me from buying them on the basis of problematic fit/brake clearance. If you know which offsets work with the RPF-1 for our car (18"), please post them.

Thank you,
Jeffrey :tiphat:

Diocletian 10-25-2010 05:44 PM

Yeah, I to would also like to know that. Also could I use 245/45/18's for the fronts since they are 18x9?

Stealth_Z 10-25-2010 07:21 PM

For light performance wheels I would go for the SSR Type C or F. compare to the 2-3 piece SSR wheels that was posted in page 1.
Type C wheels
Type F wheels

Mike 10-25-2010 08:49 PM

all I know is that I bought a couple of them from tire rack to test fit and they didn't clear the brakes. I am selling my 350Z track Rays that are widened to 9.5" and can be refinished in any color wanted.
