not my style, but looks cool! .. the tpms needs to be put into the new tires in order for it to work

LiquidZ 07-13-2009 07:15 AM

Not feeling the chrome or style.

FuszNissan 07-13-2009 07:49 AM

Like DJ said you need to make sure they mounted the tpms on the new rim and then have them recalibrated. I know there is a thread on how to do it somewhere in here, try a search, but you might have to go back to who put your wheels on , or the dealer. I believe you can do it yourself though.

corbin09 07-13-2009 07:55 AM

I have the tpms in the new wheels... i guess i need to go to the dealer and get it reset. I did search and the only thing i could find was to disconnect the battery and pump the brakes. The style isnt for everyone... but thanks!

sorry man but those are the wrong rims for a 370z.

corbin09 07-13-2009 04:09 PM

well to each his own... i probably wont have them on there for a really long time anyways, I like to change things up a lot. When i get more performance parts i will switch to a performance oriented wheel! thanks though

nogoodname 07-13-2009 04:11 PM

have any rim in particular in mind??

post up, we all could be wrong

corbin09 07-13-2009 04:21 PM

I was thinking about buying a set of enkei rpf1 in 18x10 all the way around or maybe a different size, im not too familiar with what can go on these cars in the near future. I understand that this might not be everyones style, But it is my car, I pay for it, and ultimately I decide what goes on it. I dont feel the need to justify my purchases as long as it makes ME happy. So if you dont have anything productive or nice to say please dont say it at all. I come from owning a long list of modified cars and each one has been different and unique in there own way. Like i said when more performance oriented parts go on the car, a rim that better suits it will follow.

shabarivas 07-13-2009 04:25 PM

but why even waste the cash on that? and dont post your pics in a forum and ask peoples opinions if you cant handle it - I am assuming you didnt post these up so that you can get only compliments? But in all honesty - your car looks much better w/ the stockers on em

corbin09 07-13-2009 04:28 PM

read the post... no where in it does it ask for an opinion. I was simply showing a picture of the wheels on my car, not your style or dont like them, sorry.

CrownR426 07-13-2009 04:31 PM

Please no 18's!
And no more fanboy chrome styles

nogoodname 07-13-2009 04:46 PM

MHT do make some nice rims though

shabarivas 07-13-2009 05:10 PM

I have noticed that off late every tom **** and harry with a goddam car is throwing any and all wheels on their cars with all caution to the wind... LOL... you do realize that your SPORTS CAR IS NOT GOING TO PERFORM AS WELL with those heavy wheels on right? To each their own - but dont post on a forum and get your panties in a bunch when people comment

RCZ 07-13-2009 05:22 PM

:iagree:

Post on a forum online for an opinion and you will get opinions.

Here's mine; which I hope will be less harsh when put into emoticons!

:eek: - :confused: - :ugh2::barf::koolaidwall::crying::wtf::mad::shakes head:

DJcuetip 07-13-2009 05:54 PM

the tpms is probably not working on your car because they artent in the original tires that they were in your stockies. For exmaple, if you take out the front passenger tpms... you must transfer that tpms into the new rim that is going in the front passanger. However, now they may be all mixed up so it may be hard to tell

jmlenz 07-13-2009 07:06 PM

My opinion =:barf:

But hey to each his own, as long as you like em thats all that matters bro!

Snakebite202 07-13-2009 07:52 PM

I pretty much agree with the **** **** wtf where you thinking, but to each their own right? :wtf:

some people buy this car just for it to look good , not everyone is gonna risk taking it to a track on the weekends and crashing it , also not everyone is a high school student looking for a "fast and furious" stunt car. some of us actually dont want to pull up to a nice restaurant and have a high pitched muffler, stickers advertising some BS engine part you got , orange rims , and a spoiler that could fly a rocket to the moon when handing an 18 y/o valent kid a key

btw i love the rims

shabarivas 07-14-2009 01:32 AM

^ LMAO you sir are a class act... the Z is a pure enthusiast car - putting those wheels on a car like this is like putting tvs under your bed....

Shunya 07-14-2009 08:37 AM

nogoodname 07-14-2009 08:40 AM

A magnaflow exhaust would be perfect with those rims.
Or flow master...
