Monterey Blue matched wheels

Since first buying the car, i've always wanted to color match spokes with the MB color.

I was gonna do WORK VS-XX polished lip and 4.5" front lip and 6" rear lip.

Too matchy or would it look good? Just need some opinions!

Lol, not telling you what to do, sorry...

I mean post it there to get a feel for what it looks like...
I think it might be too much blue... But the photoshop thread will give more insight into that!

I think color matched wheels look great on a low aggressive setup, esp if a polished lip to break it up.

Not the same when a car is gun metal though...
People get gun metal-ish on cars anyways, so color matched is chill.

Blue... Might be too much though

Blue Spokes with a Matte Black Barrel would potentially look sick...

Pic of the wheel model you want?

Ni55anPat 12-23-2012 11:29 PM

Work vs-xx 4.5" lip and 6" rear lip stepped

AMAZING wheel! I am a sucker for a split mesh wheel. We have a set of these here at the shop and I WANT THEM.

Bump for MIKE. He could potentially do the powder coating on these in the Monterrey Blue color you are seeking. He does the powder coating for us and has a blue that is very, very close. See the STILLEN Gen III Pipes below:

To the OP. I think the color match on those wheels would look great.

Do them in the BBS Gold with Polished Lip and we have a winner IMHO.

Agreed

Mai-z 12-26-2012 09:26 AM

I think a black or bronze lip would do wonders to break up the colors.
