Need opinions/feedback

So, at the risk of being flamed, i'm gonna go ahead and ask for opinions on my possible rim choice. I saw these lexani's (link below) on a wheel website and i really like the look, but wanted to know (1) What everyone thinks of them aesthetically (2)performance plus/minus if any known and (3)any feedback from anyone who might have them on their Z. For reference, these would be going on an all black Z (blacked out), and i'm looking at 20 x 8.5 in the front and 20 x 10 in the rear. Thanks in advance guys. You've been a big help with a lot of other Z decisions so far!

1) meh
2) looks heavy?
3) be a man an do 22's instead. ;)

1: looks like it belongs on an SUV IMO.
2: like stated above, looks heavy. more rotating mass = less acceleration/worse mpg.

hmmm, I think you could find some nicer black wheels for your Z

1) I'm in Florida a lot since my mom lives there and I've seen people going for this style. Based on the style and sizes, really looks more like a truck/SUV style.

2) Lexani is typically quite heavy.

Thanks for the feedback.... I kinda feared the same.... Anyone have any suggestions for a light, deep dish wheel in all black that's on the cheaper side?

OP what is your realistic budget (with tires)?

if this is your style and thats your budget maybe look into savini forged. same kinda look but forged so they will be lighter and stronger....but they are pricey.

That's a good budget, I would honestly suggest spending some time in these threads and find out what style you're looking for

I would try to narrow down the following:

-size (I would suggest 19"-20" max)

-what you intend to use them for (strictly street, show, track)

-color combo

I really like those SSR SP3's . . . those are nice in the gloss black with the chrome lip (or a black lip if available). . . Where would these be available? How much should i expect to spend?

To answer your question, looking for 20s because i think they fill up the big wheel well the best. Although the car isn't a daily driver, it does get driven quite often on the street, but i would like to show it also. Not planning on tracking it at all but don't want to sacrifice any performance due to wheel choice.

Thanks again for the help and guidance. I don't have much experience at all with wheel selection so all of the advice is really appreciated!

Check out Work GS4s. They come in all black and 19" are about $3600. Check out my build thread, i have pictures there.

Quality 20's are great plus a set of springs or coilovers and they would give you the look that you wanted.

SP3's are a great choice, you can either go with a polished lip or a custom-order black lip. Only thing to think about it ordering the correct sizing for the brake setup that your car has (Sport brakes or not) but that is pretty easy since several people are already running SP3's

I would send a PM to site vendor Corner3 Garage and Mike should be able to order whatever you want and get you tires as well:
