Tire Dilema please help ( big deal to me )

I have a 2009 with SP. I live in Northern Delaware. I need tires badly and saved up enough that I could get the Michelin PSS's. which I have wanted for a long time. The problem is the Z is my DD so there is a chance that I may have to deal with some driving in the snow, not alot , just enough to get me home from work etc. I have enough vacation time that I would not have to drive it in a large amount of snowfall. I know the PSS is strictly a summer tire. I am considering buying a set of all season tires to get through about March but I don't want to sacrafice performance. Would an all season tire be really that much better or should I just go ahead and go for the PSS's. We could have a cold , snowy winter or a mild winter ( like last year ) around here so I just don't know what to do. A tire guy suggested trying the General G-max all season tires which are way cheaper and still have a reasonable amount of performance. I am just stuck on what to do.

In your position I would buy the safest tire for the winter since it is your daily driver. Why put yourself or others at risk? Then I would watch this forum like a hawk for a set of spare rims to use during the summer. Even if it is a another set of Stock Rays. I dont see how this is even a hard choice. SAFETY FIRST!

You could get a nice set of used tires just to make it thru the winter even and save some money.

Continental DWS is the tire. I run them year round. Great tire.

I recently went from having 255's in the back as a rear tire size..

Got some 275's now. Only paid $140 each from discount tire. I have 3x as much traction now. They fit on the stock 18's. Cant even spin out of first gear anymore!

Got my Continentals (DWS) at Els in Glagow. They gave me the best price and had no issues with the install. Give them a call.
