I have Nitto invos 275/35/20 front and 315/35/20 rear. 20mm max pro spacers in the rear. And the wheels are 10.5 all around. When i hit bumps the rear fender rubs!!!! NOT GOOD!! :icon14: can anyone help???

Ni55anPat 11-02-2012 10:47 AM

you bought these from a local, MONISMO......

go with a smaller spacer, that tire in the back looks HUGE.....you can sell those and go with a 30 series.

last option, run more camber

Do u think the back of the tire will hit anything with a smaller spacer?

cossie1600 11-02-2012 10:56 AM

wow that tire looks like it belongs on a cayenne. You need like 25 or 30 series tires

Either lose the spacer, more camber or change the tire. The tire is atleast over 28 inches tall. How is your VDC?

I dont see the rim hitting the strut if you lose the spacer.

I mention VDC because you are so much taller now in the rear tire overall stock tires OD.

Did you ask original owner why he used spacers?

I found one of his pictures and it looks like he had the spacer in the front.

Ni55anPat 11-02-2012 11:20 AM

I'd run a 15mm, that should help with the rubbing...you're probably on stock springs, a non-aggressive camber setting...thats why

snowhite370 11-02-2012 11:33 AM

Yeah he used the spacers because he had the big brake kit. But i have the stock brakes. So i might not even need spacers:tup:

Waiz 11-02-2012 03:45 PM

What are the offsets?

Lose the spacer in the interim but you are going to need Camber and some fender work to run 315's

dirTy_shoeZ 11-02-2012 04:02 PM

start with a smaller sidewall man, thats not needed. and then bring down the spacers and if you have to put some camber into it. but first those tires are to big, you need a 30 series messing with that size tire even a 25 series since its a 20" wheel

fuct 11-02-2012 04:13 PM

i love meaty tires but thats rediculous looking.

Out of this thread, just want to ask, will fitting 295/35-19 rub the fender,my car without spacer, stock suspension & stock rims.

Ni55anPat 11-05-2012 09:46 AM

You won't run. You can prob put a 20mm spacer and still not rub

Looks good man!

But how about a small spacer in the rear to match the front. Just a thought.

Yeah i was thinkn about it but didn't want it to rub on the outside again :( its not too noticeable i don't think. Think it stands out?

Ni55anPat 11-05-2012 11:06 AM
