Aftermarket 18's Help PLease

I would like to buy wheels that plug and play with my yokohama tires that come stock with the base. I just want something with a lip and some extra style to seperate my look from stock, that is why I am going 18's. I dont want to screw up the ride quality or tires or suspension, I want my new rims to fit exactly on the stick tires. Can someone please explain to me what numbers i need to provide the local wheel shops with so that we find the right rim fittment to just plug and play with the yokohamas. I want no change in ride, just look.

So far I know fronts are 18x8 and rears are 18x9. I am lost on everything else other than the fact I need 18's. I dont wanna get ripped off by a rim store so any help would be appreciated. Going with 18's allows me to keep my budget under 1000 bc I wont have to get new tires. Thanks as always!!!!

Ideal fitment would be around an 18x8"+11 up front and an 18x9"+03 offset rear. Pretty much impossible to get without going custom and even more impossible to get under $1000. Maybe find a style wheel you like, get as close to those sizes as you can, then adjust them further with longer studs and spacers.

I dont want new tires....I dont want 19's....I dont want 20's.....Just new piano black or gunmetal black 18's with a lip

Check out this link guys. The bolt pattern and the wheels are all the same but the offsets range rom like 35 to 40. WHat the hell does that mean and what are the stock offsets PLEASE!!!

nogoodname 07-05-2009 10:07 AM

stock sizes are
fronts 18 x 8.0 with 225/50R18
rears 18 x 9.0 with 245/45R18

can't find the offsets

Page 9-8 of the owners manual
18x8 +43
18x9 +15

19x9 +47
19x10 +30

We know rear spacers of 20 will work and 15 on fronts on the 19s, so you could go with offsets as much as
19x9 +32
19x10 +10

Maybe even a little more aggressive than that if you wanted, but those are definitely proven safe.

Translating that to the 18s,
you could go with a range of
18x8 +19 through +43
and 18x9 from -3 through +15
these offsets keep them anywhere from stock, to sitting just inside the fender.

.

Question, if I want to purchase some winter rims of 18" but want to keep the width down to say 215 or 225 at the most, would the same offsets apply but with a narrower rim?

It wouldn't hurt, at most they would stick in a little farther. Best bet is to play with an offset calculator, like this one and see.
