Do you currently have them on a Z or G?

What are the sizes and offsets on your 20's?

CrownR426 12-07-2008 12:18 PM

20's on ur 350z damnnnnn!
lol...
I wanted to get 24's :D

vnarang 12-07-2008 12:37 PM

Any idea how well my rims might look with the +22 offset that I have?

G in ny 12-07-2008 01:56 PM

I have the 20s on my G35 Coupe. Im not sure what the offset is.

nogoodname 12-07-2008 10:26 PM

20's will fit on a Z, it has been done already !!!!!!!!!

the GT-R stock 20's fit the new Z, there's a pic around here somewhere

G in ny 12-07-2008 10:39 PM

Nah I know it will fit, but Im not sure if the offset of it will fit on there considering the 370 has the bbk and my g35 coupe dosnt

nogoodname 12-07-2008 10:41 PM

I'm assuming the BBK kit on the Z is the same ones on the G37s, many ppl had problems with fitting old G35 rims on the new G, but that's not to say that all rims will not fit...............

G in ny 12-07-2008 11:31 PM

Yea, incase it dosnt fit I will just put them up for sale. I know they would probaly fit the non bbk 370z with no problem. I might need a spacer if anything or if it sticks past the fenders I'll have to get new rims =/

nogoodname 12-08-2008 09:45 AM

many ppl had the spokes hitting the calipers.
there was this one guy with rims where the spokes cleared the caliper BUT the caliper was rubbing on the top of the rim......LOL.....WTH??...it fits on okay, but the rim would not turn at all....isnt that just bizarre...i couldn't stop laughing at him

RCZ 12-08-2008 12:42 PM

We're gonna have to get some stuff test fitted to get a feel for what offset will look better in what sizes....

He might of needed like a 5 mm spacer and he should have been good. if a spacer dosnt help might as well get new rims.

nogoodname 12-08-2008 12:48 PM

^^ spacers will help to clear the calipers to spokes, i was talking about the caliper to the actual rim or lip or ring or whatever you call it.......lol

G in ny 12-08-2008 12:53 PM

O **** lolll. How big were the rims? 17s? lol

nogoodname 12-08-2008 12:57 PM

18's...the guy needed some winter tires....lol

G in ny 12-08-2008 03:56 PM

^ lol yea that was the problem then, no 18s on the g37 or 370

tranceformer 12-08-2008 05:59 PM

I've fitted a set of 18's on a G37 coupe with the BBK. From what I remember there's barely a finger gap between the outer edge of the caliper and the inner barrel of the wheel. I can imagine a rock getting stuck in there wreaking havoc on the wheel. 18's would work but there's always that chance of that one ******* rock ruining your day.

^^ exactly buddy !!!

!xoible 03-03-2009 08:44 PM

that looks great actually... except idk the specs on GT-R's wheels. i am guessing with 19x10 you can go as bad as et+10. the way to test is using spacers or like ^^ does with GT-R's wheels.

i found out my car's offset by fitting a M5 wheel on it

BurntGauge 03-10-2009 05:50 PM

So what officially are the offsets? I cant see the OP's attachment yet.

For the 18's and 19's.

!xoible 03-10-2009 06:01 PM

wow u can put a ET0 on the rears with 10" wide wheels :D

VIP-STATUS 03-18-2009 11:13 PM

Look's like the 370z will take alot more wheel+offset then the 350z.
We try 20x9.5et22+20x11 et17 and there was still alot more room.
Next set coming from Japan are going to be 20x9.5et11+20x12et11.
:ughdance:

bullitt5897 03-20-2009 01:57 PM

VIP About how much room did you have left over at the 9.5 +22 F and 11 +17 R offset?

thanks,

Mike

holy zombie thread batman.

OMGWTFBBQ 10-06-2010 09:53 PM

This chart shows the stock widths/offsets. If you're going to get aftermarket wheels without going up in diameter/going wider/lower offset, you might as well not get new wheels.
