What are the pratical and technical differences between the Blonix series and the other ISS Forged series wheels? Do the other styles like the F8 also have stainless hardware, and 6061 disks/barrels? Let me know what seperates these from the other wheel lines ISS offer other than the style differences.

Can anyone shop these onto a brilliant silver Nismo?

issforged 08-05-2012 02:30 PM

Actually one of our customers did do a very rough photo-chop of some FS-6 from one of our GTRs onto a Nismo

i was able to find it, please take into account that this photo-chop would be more similar to a 18" setup with very beefy tires
also this is our darker GQ Gold finish and its not an R model, so the wheels dont show the bolts

You still have to use your imagination a bit, but this should give you a better idea of what it will look like

I have to weigh in the Spia still

but we recently did a 19x12 step lip Blonix F10 recently, with no race prep lightning pockets, and it weighed in at 22.1 lbs

I'm liking F10 with titanium hardware and race prep and only a 10 and 11 inch widths :) so under 22 pounds with that would be legit!

I love that f10 but seems like they will cost an arm lol

The sizes are what determine price

18s - $3000
19s - $3250
20s - $3500

I want a set of 18x12 rear and 18x10.5 for my Nismo. Will run 315/30/18 rear tire. I think with proper offset in rear I can get tire to fit under rear fender. Will run 295/30/18 front. Tight squeeze but think with some fender rolling it will tuck. I run Coilovers up front so i have some room inboard. I have room with 18x9.5 with 295/30/18 up front now. Wheel needs to clear big Brembo caliper - similar to sport calipers. Also need center bore hole same diameter as my wedsport 105s my front hubs have custom stub to help with mounting.

What can you do for me? Ideas on offsets? What's lightest wheel you can make for me? Was thinking matte titanium color for wheel.

for an 18" lightweight track setup i would highly recommend going with our Blonix F/10 wheel with our Race Prep Package (+$100)

We can do a matte gunmetal which is part of our standard finishes so its no extra charge!

The Blonix F/10 is one of our best performance wheels. Very little flex, and extremely strong, yet light as all hell!!

Please send me an email and we can get started on your wheel setup ASAP!!

I have bought several ISS forged wheels for my customers and had problems with every singal one of them. They leaked air, crome pealing on some of them and cosmetic issues were the paint were cracked. I contacted Genoy at ISS Forged to cover the last three sets that were orderd because the paint shatterd, but all i got was the run around and after 4 momths they said we cant cover the damage.

Well maybe ISS or someone else will chime in and dismiss these claims? There does seem to be a lot of problems with Forged wheel companies. Would be interested in hearing the story behind this. If not on this thread on another one maybe. Have been considering ISS wheels myself.

cheshirecat 10-16-2012 05:19 PM

I agree there are definitely issues with many wheel companies. ISS, however, seem to be some of the best in terms of quality and customer satisfaction. (at least from what I've seen).

I think it would be better for the person in question to either contact them, a reseller, or a mod directly. Putting something like that on the third page of a random wheel thread isn't the best way to get an issue addressed :(

TheGreatOne 10-16-2012 07:37 PM

Very random, and thats their only post here on this forum. So seems like there is an agenda there.

But if there is a real issue, definitely should be speaking with them

I myself had a post going on my wheel build with ISS which many of you might have seen, anyways, 100% satisfaction for me so far.
