ADV.1 Wheels?

I spotted this wheel-maker or something not that long ago in a wallpaper on my friend's computer. I look up the wheel and it turns out it actually exists!

It seems they're more popular among high end exotics. Just wondering if anyone here on the forum has these wheels. I'd probably get more luck at NAGTROC.

I've been curious because adv wheels are extremely clean and minimal, but I've only seen the wheels recently. I've seen zero applications to the Z before just now, and I also have no idea how much they cost.

I've also learned that apparently, each wheel style can be made in varying forms, which may include one piece forgings or three piece blocks. Apparently, it even includes "track-spec" and also an "SL" series for high speed applications above 200 mph.

In other words, I'm lost, and I don't know.

There are several thread on these wheels if you would have searched:

http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...v1-inside.html

http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...v1-wheels.html

I would rather get a set of RAYS, SSR's, or Enkei's over these wheels but that's me....

Ask away. I will try to answer everything I can for you.

We also carry ADV.1 wheels and we've used them on several of our builds.

I searched ADV and got nothing, I forgot that most forum search engines don't search anything that is 3 letters or less.

I've read a few things about their quality soon after I got the pictures. Lot of wheel company drama there.

I was piqued by the design; clean, minimalistic. Apparently also strong, since it seems almost every wheel configuration includes forged material.

I'm probably still going to go the tried and true way with TE37s. I will probably change my mind as time passes... maybe ADV.1 will get all the bad rep behind them, if they're legitimate, or perhaps they will make like 360Forged and disappear from the forum at one time or another.
