Which tire would you choose?

245\35\20 & 285\30\20

Falken FK452
Sumitomo HTRZ3
Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
Yokohama S-Drive
Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus

Out of this bunch, which would you choose and why?
They're all around the same price range.
Looking to replace tires b\c they are worn, and I do drive my 370Z daily, aggressive at times, and might squeeze in one lapping day this year.

Falken FK452 (garbage)
Sumitomo HTRZ3 (not bad, but not great)
Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 (no idea)
Yokohama S-Drive (not bad)
Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport (better)
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus (best out of these).

all season = no season

Pretty much completely agree with kenchan

What he said. I have over 2k on mine and I love them. Feels like a whole new car grip wise. Only down side is the price. 255F 295R shipped to my house from TireRack cost me $1500

lovin my PSS over the potenzas...

Had the Yokohama's on 2 cars..thought they were great summer tires. I have the Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 in 20" on the Z and would have no problem recommend them..Summer use only".

I just got the Pirelli P Zero Neros & they were $165 bucks a piece which I didnt think was too bad & they have warranty for 45,000. I drive a lot so I threw them on & they change the car completely. Quieter & Super Sticky.

EH ??

Should I stick with these sizes, 245\35\20 & 285\30\20 ?
Or go wider?
265\30\20 & 305\25\20 ?
How will that affect drivability on bad roads?

kenchan 06-01-2012 11:43 AM

wobbly steering wheel maybe....depends on your wheel offset too.

Does anyone have a recommendation for anything better then the super sports? Seems like the forum preference is the PSS's in all the threads I've been reading, but I am wondering if there might be something better out there?

Z-agin 06-01-2012 12:38 PM

Haven't decided

Looking at 2 options

Pilot Super Sport

Or

Potenza RE 970 AS

General driving purposes, no tracking

hadokenuh 06-01-2012 01:50 PM

Out of those, I'd pick Michelin Pilot Sport AS+. I have Ventus V12s on the car right now. Definitely stay away from Falken 452s.
