Oem 19"rays with spacers

Wondering if 20mm spacers will work in the front with the sport rays? I know the backs are fine but with the v2 spacers I heard they won't work for some reason.

Yes they will. I have them on mine,

Did you have to make any mods to the wheel or studs?

valpozguy 04-28-2012 04:57 PM

Yes extended studs you can get the whole kit from z 1 motor sports

They will make the stance so much better. Wheels should have came a little more out from the factory.

yes, no need for extended studs. bolt-on spacers will work.

edit: as long as they're at least 20mm

if the car came with the slightly shorter studs. some Z's come with slightly longer studs and for that, you may have to grind.

no, found this issue in same model year. looks like some Z's are running studs from either different manufacturer or from different lots.

valpozguy 05-01-2012 11:22 AM

Do it right or don't do it at all. extend the studs!

lol, if we're talking about right vs. wrong... the "right" thing would be to get wheels w/ the proper offsets.

bolt-on spacers (from a reputable manufacturer) are fine for daily/spirited driving. a LOT of drifters use spacers w/ no issues.
