19x9.5 +5??

Hey guys i'm lowered on H&R springs and possibly going to run coils soon. I was wondering if i could run a 19x9.5 +5 & 19x10.5 +12? What tires sizes could i possibly run and i don't mind stretching the tires a little. Thanks in advance

Yes you can, and you can run up to a 275/35r and 245/35f

+5 is probably too aggressive for the front unless you run a ton of camber and stretch a lot. A 9.5+12 is about the start of rubbing with a normal tire/normal camber.

The offsets are kinda backwards. You would probably need to do a 235/35 up front and for the back a 275/35. Plus a 15mm spacer in the rear to match the aggressiveness of the front. It would be similar to my setup.

Mine is:
245/35 9.5+12
275/35 10.5 -5.

As above have said,

9.5 +5 is very aggresive front, you will have to run a 235 tyre and it MAY fit without extra camber from the H&R spring drop (I've got same drop but running a 9.5 +15, 255 front tyre and its perfect). Otherwise if you run a 245/255 tyre, you will need camber arms and run more camber in the front (need camber arms as fronts can't be adjusted basically).

10.5 +12 is very mild especially if you want stretched tyres, you could go as flushnismo has said and run a 10.5 -5 with a 275 tyre, in which case you'll need effectively 15-20mm spacer to get to where he is, if you run a tyre wider then 275 (I'm running a 305, 10.5 +5 and its perfect), you'll want at least a 5-10mm spacer depending on tyre width if you go a 295/305

I'm running +5 with a 245-35 up front. No problems. Rubs a little on the inner fender but nothing terrible... And I'm slammed.

I'm running -20 rear with 265-35-19.

Lmk if u have questions bud

Are you running a 5mm spacer in the rear? And why did you decide on a rear 35 side wall instead of 30?

Yes I'm running a 5mm spacer. And a 30 side wall would mess up the speedo. You go down to a 30 at 305 width.

Being slammed gives you the extra front camber needed not to rub. My car had a 1in drop and I was rubbing with a 19x9.5 +15 with a 245/35/19

I believe I'm running -2.7 camber front. Perfect for me

19x9.5+0 245/40R19 rubs a bit on bumps but not unbearable.

Red__Zed 04-20-2012 10:17 AM

Windex, is your fender pulled or is that from the "rubbing?"

Viera 04-20-2012 10:26 AM

^Kinda looks like rubbing to me

Flushnismo 04-20-2012 10:51 AM

That looks like the fenders would be destroyed in a week where I live.
