My custom Avant Garde shipping today!
2 Attachment(s)
Well two weeks ago I sold my sport package wheels in hopes of getting matte black avant garde m310. Eric at Getyourwheels told me I could get hyper silver powdercoated any color I want, so I decided on Gloss black and can't wait to recieve these babies and put them on my silver z!
Here are the Specs of the wheels and the tires I'll be running: Specs 19x9.5 +20 255/35/19 19x11 +18 305/30/19 Pics from 4/19/12 on pg. 2 Attachment 44655 Attachment 44656 |

I will def post pics when they arrive. I wanted matte, but they were out of stock so I took a shot on having them powdercoated gloss black. I think I was the first to have them done gloss because I couldn't find any pics of them.
|
You are the first set in Gloss black :)
|

reccomended tire size? if the car is NOT lowered...curbs and potholes and railroad tracks and nearly everything else around here are brutal!
and that gloss black looks amazing,i keep staring at it |
We like the 255/35/19 and 305/30/19 but a lot of people run 245/40/19 and 285/35/19
|
I went with what they like lol ;) gotta make people drool when they z my 370 Rollin' through. Gonna lower it too, hopefully sooner rather than later
|
Beautiful!
You and I have the same taste in wheels. I loves weaves, and that set is particularly nice. Congrats!

I get the fact these wheels are concave and look pretty damn good, but it doesn't bother you that they are pretty heavy?
This is kind of the internal struggle I have been having with these lately. They look really nice, but I would feel the extra weight :\ |

But hell, what do I know...Im considering XXR 521's so yeah. :ughdance: |
Lol I wasn't trying to be rude man! No disrespect taken :) do your thing boss!
...and I hope they look good on my z ;) |
I want some opinions because I'm in a predicament. My new wheels are going to be gloss black and I'm stuck on some other black accents to add. I recently removed my tailight tint and black emblems because I had the car washed and they tore my tint so I just peeled it off and went back to a more "stock" look. I have the fangs and rear diffuser painted black. I just don't want to have too much black, but with black wheels i think i need accents. So my questions are:
1) Should I tint my tailights again? 2) Should I get roof vinyl? (super glossy) I really want this. 3) Should I plasti dip my emblems black again? I know the saying to each their own and ultimately it's my decision, but I would look other opinions to help me. |
I really don't think that is too much black accenting. I am considering the roof vinyl. I am going to have my emblems shaved. Tailights aren't my thing, but I don't think they look bad. I think you should go for it. Sounds like it would look pretty good. Gratz on the rimz ;)

Looks great beast! I'm on the fence about ordering the same exact setup (i.e. M310's gloss black, same sizes). It's been my experience that pictures never do black wheels justice (the detail tends to get lost). Would you agree that is the case with these wheels?
My Z is PG, so I'm really torn about what color I should go with. Hopefully a sunny pic of the wheels on your car will help my decision making. Hmm, I wonder if the gloss black on a PG would look good with red pinstriping? |
Wheels look great!
