Hey guys what do you think of gold wheels, found a place here that does real gold plating, dips it in gold and uses electricity to make the gold stick to the metal, I don't know always had a thing for gold wheels on red, blue black or white cars, my lip is colore matched at the moment and I love the look of it as well, btw I have Volk gt30 and mb 370http://blog.bespokeventures.com/wp-c...ngattack03.jpg

How do u think a gold Color with blue lip will look? Too much never seen it done b4

Shiny/metallic gold no, matte gold(STI style) yes.

Will it look tacky if I left the lip blue?

Yeah. It'll look tacky if you leave the lip blue. I'd do the gold like the SSR Type-F's above, or the gold/polished or machined lip look of the GT30's below that one.

I personally think that looks horrible. I'm not really a fan of lips that match the color of the car, but that's just me. Shrugs.

Paint it (not plate it!) gold or bronze. One color -- no reason to do the lip differently.

Powdercoat it gold, plating is for gangsters.

My vote is powdercoat matte gold. No blue lip. Just my :twocents:
