Sunset Orange CF5's
 

I am looking for a new set of wheels to put on my Z and I have always loved Forgestar. I was wondering what yall's opinion is on a set of sunset orange CF5's on my PW 370z?

It's a bright "look at me" color. If you're ok with that, then it'll do well. Black calipers would go well with it.

However, it is a bit tacky for day-to-day use, but that's just because I'm more conservative with looks.

I like it! I was even considering orange at one point! Maybe not that bright of an orange, but I like it.

Colors that bright on wheels look tacky unless your car is used in Formula Drift

I say no, but if you have forza 4 then get a 370z, paint it white, put on the same looking rims in orange and see how you like it then

Lol the funny thing is I actually did that with white rims, I guess it is time to try some orange ones.

Honestly I hope you order these... like today? I was seriously considering getting the CF5 in a bronze/copper color for my Z but didn't want to wait the 8-12 weeks. I have not been able to find any other Z with CF5 for an example, I even asked Forgestar and they had no pics. Found some GTR with them and bluebat's NSX had them though for reference.

I plan on ordering them in the next few weeks, but they do take about to months to build and ship so it will be a while before they are here. I will keep ya posted and post pics as soon as I can.

That IS, and I repeat, IS, the color I am going to get for my MB. I am looking at Forgiatos though.

Everyone has they're opinion and I like that, I would rather have y'all voice yall's opinion on not liking them as opposed to saying nothing at all. so props to all the honest people on here.

Like I said, I like orange! Love that pic! I will say though, that I like the orange in the pic above more than the orange the OP posted.

First off I do think the orange looks much better on a PW rather than the blue, but still not bad. Secondly who had the picture of the PW stopped with those orange wheels on?

The white looks pretty darn good with the orange wheels, IMO. sc5509, I think those orange cf5's will look great on your car. What sizes and offsets are you going with?

I really like the orange on the white Z... very original and aggressive.

If sized right. A color like that needs to be aggressive looking. Perfect drop everything must go into making it look "good". ie that color on the stock wheels a no-no.

PW you can definitely get away with it. 5 to 6 spoked rims is the best for orange I think. Any more and it just looks overwhelming and to bright.

wonder how orange would look on Black Cherry ... have never seen that combo.

yo dude those are my wheels! I love them and they are head turners for sure. U really have to be cool with people analyzing ur **** on the reg. I have people I dont know everyday giving me the thumbs up and down. Young guys and gals seem to love the look, where is some older folks dont. I love the look and the attention.

The only bad thing about them is they are a little heavy. After I put them on it feels like I have a 4-5 horsepower drop due to the weight. Also, like u noted they do take a month to build and powder coat.
