Custom Hand Polish Varrstoen?
I am definitely set on picking up the varrstoen 1.1.2 and just came across this picture that someone did a custom hand polish on. The lip finish came out exactly the look I want because I dont care too much for the way they come stock (almost look kinda of dull). Anyone know the exact process? Or is this something I would take to a rim repair shop to get done? Thanks! :tiphat:

Defiantly looks better with the full polish

Ya I agree but how do you get them like that?

Love your polish
Hey
how did you polish your wheels? I'd love to do this to mine |
The polish is probably something pretty simple, but I have a decent knowledge of detailing cars... so here's my input:
The owner simply took a lot of chrome/metal polish and sat there rubbing it in. He lightly sanded and then used a slightly abrasive polish to cut the metal enough to add a shine. Using less and less abrasive per step, he got it to an insane shine. High speed buffing can make this happen too. |
Im going to try to polish mine today when I get off work, but they may have a clear coat over the wheel that has to be sanded off with light grit sand paper. Ill be sure to let everyone know how it goes when I get done
