That looks perfect, are you on coils or springs?

Thank you sir, Eibach Lowering springs.

But car looks lower because of Varis Lip kit.

OptionZero 11-30-2018 10:40 PM

time to throw those springs away and go full coilovers so you can get some real stance

I would, but only reason I won't is because I don't want to make my car anymore illegal than it already is, coils are illegal here in SA, Aus.

To get coils I would have to first get them engineered. But I already have a whole list of mods that are already on the car that need to be engineered to make them legal. A huge cost ahead of me.... ;(

Went 285/35/19 front and 355/30/19 rears
(19x12 front & 19x14 rears)

In the rear. I'm running 345/30-19 PPS on 19x12, +28. No rubbing, but I don't think I have enough clearance to run a true coil-over in the rear. It's tight at the top of tire and shock. If true coil-overs are in your plans. Go with the 325's.

did you have to do anything to the rear to fit?
I have 305/35/18 toyo r888r on 12" et 27 and its stretching a bit. I want to go to 335's next

I’m thinking Rusty is out of town for a week or so; i’m Pretty sure he had no fitment issues in the rear w/stock suspension & -1.75* camber.
I had to replace my traction arm bolts w/smaller head ones...when I ran 345/30/19 invo’s on 19x12 et38, as I ran only -1.0* camber out back. My pinch point was the traction arm & had about a finger between shock. But I’m 10mm further inward than Rusty.
Hopefully this helps you; as I’m sure he’ll reply when he returns :tiphat:

Thank you for your help! Its only another 10 mm on the inside but with 12's we're already cutting it close

You should be fine with factory negative camber(or close to it), as I tried to stand mine more upright for max traction while launching :ugh2:
I never rubbed & had clearance as tight as 1/4”

Haha well I am at -2.4 all around, I might go back to around 1.5

No trouble fitting the 345's on a 12", 28+ rim. Stock height. No need to lower the car. Very little gap between the fender and tire. The tire has about an inch of clearance at the top of the shock. That is your limiting factor for shocks or coil overs. Spring diameter.

oo thank you for all of this info. I am lowered on KW V3's, About 1.75 inches in front and 1.25 in the rear. I thought I was cutting it close with those 305's

Since your lowered. The top of the tire will be inside the fender.

I see, my main concern is inside clearance

OptionZero 12-22-2018 05:51 PM

i would never worry about the inside clearance on the Z34. Its a fuckin' cavern
