** New wheels** need tire help

Okay, so I am new to the whole stagger thing. I've searched and searched and I cannot find an answer to my question.

I just ordered my wheels they are 18x8.5 F and 18x10R.

My question is what are the best tires for this set up?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I just ordered my wheels they are 18x8.5 F and 18x10.5 R.

My question is what are the best tires for this set up? I see a lot of ppl running

2??/35/19
305/30/19

I can't seem to find those in 18r . (idk even know if they will even fit)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Which pair are we to go with here 18's or 19's?

I would say a 265 if you're running a 9.5" front, but with 8.5" ... :ugh2: why the difference?

245/35 maybe even a 235 for that width

I'm going with 18's

I only but the 19 cuz I see everyone using those size tires but only in 19 inch rims.

A friend of mine who drives a G says I should do a nismo set up and run 245/40/18 F and 285/35/18 R

Tire sizes

Call Eric at getyour wheels.com and ask. I have a site as a favorite which calculates the correct wheel/tire size.,but i am unable to post it right now.

Would work /Nsmo setup

I just ran the calculator, 245/45/18 and 285/35/18 looks ok to me but check first.

Zerafian 02-27-2012 01:18 PM

assuming the 18 and 19" is a typo Id say put 275/35 on the rear and 235/35 on the front

Th3 On3 02-27-2012 01:27 PM

^^ I'm putting 18's. Not 19's

Thanks rebe!! Where/how do I check?

245-35-18 front

285-35-18 rear

What offsets did you order OP and why did you only go 18x8.5 in the front?

Th3 On3 02-28-2012 04:30 PM

They are +25

They only came in 18x8.5. And 10.5 Rear

Next size was 20's and I don't want 20's

Is 18x8.5 bad?

Is 18x8.5 bad?

It's fine, 18x9.5 is ideal but it's not going to be an issue.

I would have went 18x10.5 all around and just staggered the tire sizing.

Go to RimsnTires.com

Spell it exactly RimsnTires.com Use Capital R and T in your typed address. Then go to tools and then Size Comparer. All this will be on the left. I forgot, After you get to the site, go to wheels then the above. Its agreat tool that calculates everything.

Th3 On3 02-29-2012 09:30 AM

Okay so the wheels are 18x8.5 front and 18x10 rear.

Is this an okay set up for our cars?

I'm kinda worried now?!
