Quest for cheap winter wheels in 19"

I found these stupid LFA knockoffs online. The price seems very good. I am not sure the weight of them yet, but I am curious to see if I can use them as winter wheels or if I am better off buying a reputatable brand. This is for winter use only, don't care if they don't look great. I just want something cheap for my giant snow tires. I am thinking about 19x9.5 all around with 38mm offset so I can add a 15mm spacer in the back. Is that the right fit? I am not very good with the whole wheel and offset calculation. I will be running 255/40/18 all around

ET38-15 = ET23 for rears yah, thats about right at stock height and only 255 width tires. you dont want to flush up narrow tires cause will look very odd (like a stupid crab or spider crawling around) from the front and back.

considering the long haul in salt roads i shouldve done something like this too on my G. im currently running stock 18's that came with the car (18x8's) they look pretty narrow with snows on the rear (245/45/18 stock size LM60). but oh well, didnt want to spend extra $ for snows at the time...

btw, id make sure it clears your akebono's if you have them. those wheels appear they will..

OEM is the way to go for cheap wheels, and they dont really lose their resale value either.

Here are the options

Dedicated snow wheels, size is too small or offset is too weird to be used for track
#1 G35 19" Rays, price = $7000
#2 New LFA knockoffs, price = $700? I might need spacer as offset is too high in the rear

Instead of dedicated wheels, spend more to get race rims that will be turned into track wheels. Drawback is that 19" are usually more expensive, but that means I have one extra set to screw around in.

#1 OEM 19" rays, price $1000?!?
#2 19x9.5 Drag wheels with offset 40 in front and 25 in the back. $800 brand new
Drag DR-37 custom rims

You guys have any other solution?

The 255/40/19 is nearly an inch" bigger than the OEM tires, I am very concerned about it rubbing in the front.

None of these are what I want, but this is life when you have a car that doesn't work in the winter and runs a weird size.

why not just do a staggered setup? on my G im using staggered stock size. 225/45/18 and 245/45/18 LM60's.
