Looking for pics of Black Rays on Black Z

Ive almost decided to paint my 19" sports wheels black, but im concerned that they may clash with my black paintjob. I'm still searching but if anyone could post pics or links it would help. I see that most owners get black engine paint for durability but they don't have black cars. Is it pointless to try to match? Has anyone used black oem paint codes?

I am also looking for any opinions on colors from members who have seen more on the forums than myself(matte,gloss,gunmetal,etc.). Hnestly I the stock color on the rims but want to try something different.

Thanks for any advice.

I've seen a few guys plasti-dip their wheels with great success. Its durable enough to protect the wheels from rock chips but can also be peeled away if you change your mind down the road.

You can but I doubt it would hold up. Have them professionally painted.

Plastidip forms a matte/flat finish that would absorb the oils from your skin and look nasty after a while.

Check out ZCarMan's (Jon) car: http://www.the370z.com/members/zcarm...al-photos.html

Nice links. I frickin love Zcarman's setup. Wicked lights

I ordered a kit from dipyourcar.com with the glossifier.

As long as it is safe, i'll do the door handles just to see if i like it. If so, then i'll have it painted.

yeah, his car has definitely reached batmobile status. i think if you're going to black the Z out, you have to go all the way like he did. not sure if i want to go that route though.

The only way to go is painting them. Some of the Carbon door handle kits seem to hold up but im sure up close they wouldnt look as clean as just painting them...

I had mine painted for 6 years on my 350z and they looked great the whole time... Even with my wifes "french manicure" nails!! haha
