Pvd chrome

So I was trolling around ebay and came across this item for "rim exchange" for PVD chrome. Anyone familiar with that? It looks like the color is almost black with a chrome finish. Cost is like 885 with exchanging your factory wheels. Has anyone done that here yet? Just curious.

Heres the link:

Looks good but that is a lot of money to refinish wheels. You could get away with something way cheaper.

I know the history of my rims, no way would I take someone else's core.

Well, Ebay is ok for other stuff.

The general rule is that if you answer yes to the following question you should not buy from Ebay (or other auction/discount site): "If it breaks can it kill me?"

If one of these shatters because it's been dipped in chrome... Let's just say I can't imagine this world without you, RoadZter. :p

Seriously, thanks for your input! You're one of the reasons I keep coming back to this forum!

No problem!

If you really want a great finish on your Rays, find a reputable powdercoater (that has experience with wheels) and get them powder coated. There are so many finishes available and an experienced powdercoater will be able to come up with a fantastic finish.
