Help with wheel problem!!!!!!! =[
Off and on, whenever I turn the steering wheel of my 370z and pull out of a driveway or parking spot, it feels like i'm running over a couple of very small speed bumps or bottle caps.... I check to see if i'm actually running over anything but there is never anything there. Then after i straighten out my wheels,,, she runs fine. I already checked tire pressures and did a visual check and everything seems fine. What do you guys think the problem might be? I never had this happen to me before. =(. I can't get it to a shop to get it looked at until next week since I work 12 hour shifts during the day. ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED!!!

Wow! That's a big variance: speed bumps or bottle caps? :ugh2:
Are you running stock rubber and wheels with no spacers? How about suspension? Is it stock? |
Yes I have the same issue. I believe I read on hear its common with the stock Bridgestone's when they are cold and feels a bump or pop when turning.
|
Common with summer tires in cold temps
|
yeah feels a little fragile when the wheel cranked all the way
|
this is normal bro I wouldn't worry too much about this we all have this issue (atleast with the stock tires)
|
Yep, summer compounds in cold weather do this. In tight low speed turns they will "skip" over the pavement if it's cold enough out. This is what you're feeling. Totally normal.

I've had this happen on a couple vehicles. normal.

WHEW! thank you so much guys! I feel relieved =D
