Nismo wheels.. screwed over twice..

So I've been trying to get myself a set of Nismo wheels with tires at the best possible price for the past 2 months now. Twice I was the winning bidder on ebay for a slightly used set with tires. And twice the seller has backed out of the sale. This last seller sent me an invoice, accepted my payment, sent me an email stating he was going to send me the wheels via UPS and then today sends me a refund of my money MINUS $85! Why should I have to lose $85 for receiving nothing?! I'm livid... that being said, anyone interested in selling me a set of Nismo wheels with tires, please message me!

make sure you get that 85 bucks back sounds like a scam to me

I used Paypal with a credit card.. I called Paypal and theyre working on it now.. and I'm going to have my credit card work on it as well. I'm just livid that I'm not getting my wheels!!!

Yeah that sounds like a scam for sure.

+1 Scam. Paypal should take care of you on this one. They have always done well by me.

Also, that sucks! I know the feeling. Been there, done that.

Whoa! Sometimes its just worth paying extra to get brand new stuff from an authorized dealer!

Wow! Maybe you should post a link to the auction or maybe someone we should look out for. I have been searching on ebay myself for the Nismo rims.

I wish I could say the same about PayPal. I sold a headlight for $500 the buyer stripped it , melted it and sent it back to me. PayPal refunded him the money an made me jump through hoops for 6 months hoping I'll quit chasing them. I had pulled the cash so my account went negative and they sent me to collections. I fvckin hate PayPal lol

just figured out an easy way to steal shlt and get away with it

Can I assume you gave the seller negative feedback? :(

TheGreatOne 11-28-2011 02:38 PM

Did the seller reserve teh right to sell it locally also?

I just ask cause that happens with cars all the time. You win the big, but thye have it posted in the locally too, then they figure its easier and cut you out...BUT, you should loose your paypal fees because of that (I imagine thats the $85)

tjlazer 11-28-2011 02:41 PM

I got mine on eBay last year. Sounds like this seller is shady. How was his feedback? Whats the item #?

No, he did not. Also I SHOULD NOT lose the $85 paypal fees. I am an experienced eBay and Paypal user (over 10 years) and spoke to Paypal as well. They told me that I should get a full refund and that he the seller should be responsible to the deduction of Paypal fees. In the past I have received refunds on Paypal as well and never had a fee pulled from the amount. Its different from when you receive a payment.

ebay is buyer beware. I never buy big ticket items from there as its' too sketchy. GL with everything
