i removed my 18inch yokohama sporty tires and put on a 17inch rim and Blizzak snow tires. OMFG the feel is completly different. Very "wobbly" almost. I guess its going to be better then getting stuck, but i cant wait til spring!!!

I totally agree that the Yokos are amazing summer tires.
I put Toyo Garit KX winters on the original 18 inch rims. Initially the weather has been unseasonably warm and I have been skidding out a bit. However, as it became colder last week, the Toyos performed much better. Yokohama winters are always my first choice, but I couldn't find them for the Z. I have a new set of them on the Silverado though! |
op - yep, that's because you got squirm. that's totally expected of snow tires especially while new since it's got lots of tread. + you need to break them in. :)
not that i like driving on snow tires either, just part of winter driving. |
