rebe, what happend to the gun metal??? Thought those were the ones you were gonna go with and had already ordered?!

Rom

Just changed my mind. Liked the gloss gunmetal, the machined finish gunmetal and hyp silver. I wanted a brighter look from the begining, so my original choice of hyp silver. Also, I found pics of a black car with the Avants and was convinced. There all great . It was so fn hard to decide. Couldnt go wrong no matter what. I really like the shiny clean look of hypersilver. How it stands out in the sunlight and night. Plus with the 255/295s, shyt, thats gonna look awesome. Will post pics

Aizen Sosuke 03-20-2012 09:36 AM

Eric will get you the weights ;)

What color is your Z?
Have you decided on a bronze yet?
I am going to grab some of these in the next month or so from Eric in a custom bronze myself. I am thinking one of the attached colors. Leaning toward the darker bronze on the white Z atm.

Nitex 03-20-2012 05:04 PM

beautiful wheels however.. after going from base 18s to my 19 F14s.. i can tell you it DOES make a difference weight wise. And not to mention these are heavier than my F14s..

Im actually going down to 18s for my next set of wheels.

Any idea on weight for these in 18's? I think the F14s are only 18ish lbs..

How does it feel different from the 18's? I would also be upgrading from the base 18's. I don't think these wheels are available in the same widths for the 18's as they are for the 19's (9.5" front and 11" rear).

rebe945 03-20-2012 06:03 PM

Wheel weight

I'll let you guys know my thoughts on going from18s to 19s. My setup is due probably early next week. The Avant Garde m310s are a pound each heavier than the Forgestar F14s. 25/27 range. I dont track her so thats not a factor. I will see the difference in ride, noise, etc. Im really curious with the 255/295 setup.

Hmm, what kind of difference? Like loosing a second in the quarter difference? Or omg I was just passed by a Prius difference? Ok kidding there, but can a normal Z person tell a bug difference?

Omikron 03-21-2012 12:16 PM

No joke, the day i drove away with my new wheels, it felt like i had just added a passenger. I instantly felt slower... It could be in my head, but i think not.

Of course it was not bad enough for me to put my 18s back on, because they look so much better. But if i could have the perfect 18 both weight and looks wise i would be happier.

Not to mention its cheaper on the tires.

If you don't plan on tracking the car at all i wouldn't worry.. Less your some street racer that wants any advantage..

I was planning on tracking my car, but I would think that any wheel that's wider than the 18's would be slightly heavier (at least the less expensive ones anyway). Maybe I'll get a set of F14s in 18's instead?

The real issue is that no one really makes a low enough offset for 18"

Even on forged monoblock (3500-4500 dollars) you are looking at 18x9 and 18x10.5 with the lowest offset being 20.

The only way to get a low enough offset is to do a 3 piece which again is 3500-4500

My Ag.Function 19x9.5 were 20 lbs :)

Is it possible to get these wheels in 18x9 and 18x10.5? I guess you could always get spacers to deal with the offset.

GetYourWheels 03-21-2012 09:36 PM

We can do the Avant Garde Ag.Function 310 Forged Monoblock in 18x9 and 18x10.5

Ahhh the forged ones are way out of my price range. :p

Aizen Sosuke 03-22-2012 12:12 PM

What's going to be the ballpark price range for the Avante garde function 310s in 19x9.5 and 19x11 with these offsets?

GetYourWheels 03-22-2012 12:48 PM

MSRP is 3950.

We are looking for 5 370z to partially sponsor at a heavy discount.
