Gold on white. Always classic.

I asked once if gold wheels were still cool. Now I think that they'll be forever classic. I was part of the Venaci wheel fiasco with Rick at VIP, but long story short, I got my money back and Mark at Ravspec hooked me up.

Nothing like gold on white

I'm glad it all worked out for you in the end.

Nice setup. Any specs?

Erik@RTTuning 10-27-2011 10:24 AM

I agree. I think that color combo will stand the test of time. Just like bronze on a black car.

KaienZ34 10-27-2011 10:31 AM

Nice, size and specs please sir.

Wheel specs for those interested.

Work Gnosis GS2
20x10 +35 Front with 275/30-20 v12 Evo
20x10.5 +15 Rear with 285/30-20 v12 Evo

I went with the more square setup for better handling, not looks. Front tire is a lot wider but the back just doesn't really need any more rubber. Car is at stock ride height, it's low enough already for the roads around here, and it is my DD. The gold color was custom ordered and usually only used on some of Work's other models. I wanted the fitment flush with no poke. Right now the front sits about 4-5mm out but should come back in once I get the front camber arms on. ;) A CF front lip and rear spoiler should finish it off.

Do you mind sending me a pm of how much you paid those? thanks!

KaienZ34 10-27-2011 12:38 PM

My guess would be 3300-3800 without tires.

Talk to Mark at RavSpec. He cut me a fair deal and it was handled in a professional manner. The exact opposite of my experience with VIP. The custom color cost a extra hundred bucks.

I'm glad you finally got your wheel situation settled, they do look great.

Ni55anPat 10-27-2011 02:47 PM

Volk gold is the best :)

Trips 10-27-2011 02:52 PM

Very nice indeed

That's hot! I too had to go through a different vendor (actually a friend from high school). Saved me a few hundred at the end.

The 20's fill up the gap on stock suspension! Looks great and the offsets are spot on.
