yes pics of the wheels on the car

OMGWTFBBQ 09-19-2011 06:41 PM

Hmm... unless the offsets are in the negatives, they would look very sunken in. I'd say no to them. Sorry.

oh i see what wheels do you guys recommend like the volks but seeing as im only 16 its hard to convince the parents when you plan on ordering an amuse kit in a couple weeks

Red__Zed 09-19-2011 06:46 PM

what are the offsets?

Joe711 09-19-2011 06:50 PM

35 and 45 or 45 and 45

You'll need spacers for sure. You sure you got the right PCD and center diameter?

VQStryker 09-20-2011 05:49 PM

very bad offsets considering the width. you'll want +12 to +18 for the 18x10.5 for a solid setup and your talking width of 9.5"...dont do it.

Juruki 09-20-2011 07:40 PM

i would prefer stockies.

lemansz20 09-21-2011 12:27 AM

Stick with stock and sell those to a honda civic guy, those things no matter if they were free will look horrendous, unless maybe you put like a 5" spacer.

You mean 5' spacer:tup:

cheshirecat 09-21-2011 11:01 AM

Stick with stocks, killer deal or not.

Just because a wheel is aftermarket does not mean it is an upgrade for your car.

:icon18:

...and stock wheels would be an upgrade from what you are thinking of getting

NYBladeZ 09-21-2011 03:17 PM

Here come the haters due to the fact that the kid is 16. With that said, even though you are working on a small and limited earning means, only get quality parts including nice wheels, otherwise you'll regret it in the long run.

Waiz 09-21-2011 03:30 PM

Pass

I think 'convince the parents' implies anything but 'limited means'

Amuse kit+brand new 2011 370z on 'limited earning means'?

karotZ 09-21-2011 04:40 PM

I would pass OP. Now, do you have a base or sport? Regardless, if you do have any, I would prefer to don the Amuse with powder coated satin black base or sport wheels.

XwChriswX 09-21-2011 04:48 PM

And for reference, here are the wheels:

On a 350Z:

karotZ 09-21-2011 05:12 PM

To each of his own, right? I myself prefer single color, like hyper silver, gun metal or matte/satin black. If you are going for two-tone / triple-tone, it needs to be done with taste - yet again, just my opinion.

Yea your right have to convince parents might be getting 19-20 inch volks GT-30

NYBladeZ 09-22-2011 08:42 AM

What do you want the kid to do, apologize for having well to do parents. If he can get a full amuse kit and wheels then so be it, I just hope he drives like a normal person, that's always the greater issue.

On the topic, don't get the wheels, hold out for the volks.
