So about a year ago a truck forced me to hop a curb (aka i only had 900 miles on it and had no idea how good it was handling wise to avoid getting hit) so i was just browseing here saw this thread http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...heel-woes.html

liked what i saw got a quote.. and today got my rim fixed... guys were nice they said it was gonna be 125$ but when i got there mercedes had given him 2 cars to do (they cant drive mercedes lol) so about 1hour and 30 min it was done! and i get ready to pay and the guy tells me just make it for 100$ due to your long wait! :happydance: http://www.awrswheelrepair.com

Very nice!

Makes me want to find a wheel repair in my area and see if they can fix some scuffs on my wheels.

calvie 09-09-2011 11:03 AM

Is that $125 per wheel?

370zproject 09-09-2011 11:08 AM

yea it turned out to be 100$ for that one rim due to the fact that it was a extra 30 min wait cause Mercedes dealers cant drive :P

sboden 09-09-2011 01:06 PM

I just got a quote on mine for $99 a rim with lifetime warranty. That is to sand out rash, repaint the whole wheel, and clear coat. They look good.

370zproject 09-09-2011 01:09 PM

yea lifetime on mine as well

What's your location SmoothZ?

didymus 09-09-2011 04:52 PM

Looks good but hard to tell on the pics for sure. Is the lifetime warranty just for their work or will they repair it again if you rash the wheel a second time?

I found one place. I'll keep them in mind until I really need it. For now, I have to buy a new exhaust system.

Man..I wouldn't (and didn't) be able to just deal with that, but everyone's different. It drove me mad until I could get it fixed. It's certainly not hurting anything to not get it done! :)
