Tires and road tar

I went over a road as they were paving it.. and now I have road tire all over the bottoms of the tires. I figure it will come off in time but anyone got any advice as to how i can speed the process? I now hear all these pebbles being picked up by the sticky goo on the tires and as I was pulling out the rear wheels started slipping.. so this is not only annoying but dangerous as well..
Thanks

Some brisk driving (side to side) should rub it fairly quickly.
