nees help on a 2011 370z fellas

I was wondering if yall can tell me what's that 6 stud or half a stud on the front rotor.they say its for the caliper.its like a half stud near the stud so instead of 5 there is a 6th one that blocks me from putting on my wheels on the front.anyone know what I can do fellas?prob can have someone drill a slight hole on my rims.do yall think that would be allright and won't crack the rim?and where can I check to get that done?

The sixth stud is there to prevent putting the rear stock wheels on to the front wheels. That's all it is. I'm pretty sure you can remove that sixth stud pretty easily.

virtuosoondis 06-04-2011 08:39 AM

Thanx bro u sure?how would I remove it?

cossie1600 06-04-2011 11:53 AM

Use a 10mm to remove it, takes two seconds. I think the screw is for assembly purposes, not front and rear wheel mixed up

So is it safe to take this off?

cossie1600 06-04-2011 01:24 PM

two threads really?

and its not a stud , its a bolt.. a stud protrudes out from the rot and lug nuts get screwed on to them...

virtuosoondis 06-05-2011 01:06 AM

Had the same question as I just got my new wheels in and couldn't get them to fit. Glad you guys posted this up! Thank you.

No. Actually it is to prevent a mix up and can be taken off.
