Light weight wheels
I was curious, what light weight wheels are out there for the 370. Light weight meaning less 20 lbs or is that asking too much?

There's a few but here's the 2 that i can remember
i have the YOKOHAMA ADVAN RZ. on my g37, 19x9 front 19x10. 19x10 weighs 19 lbs Volk Racing re30 limited edition for 19x10 weighs 18.5 lbs. This applies to the CE28'S also. Hope that helps. UNSRUNG WEIGHT FTW:tup::tup: |
Thanks! Do you have any pics of your wheels? I was looking at May's issue of Super Street and they featured Zele's 370Z. It had some gorgeous 20 inch TE-37's. I believe it said it was the generation 2 of the TE-37. I have to find out how much those weigh and if they are even available.

What are the stock sport wheel weights?

Lou, do you have any black CE's in 370Z sizing and offset? If you do how much do they weigh? |
I know my CE's on the VQ which are 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 are about 18/19lbs each :)

5 lbs. unsprung savings per wheel is very nice. It also seems like a good way to go to a bit wider and still sneak under stock wheel/tire weight. Do you think 19" Volks will be able to handle mid-sized pothole hits? Oakland has less-than-ideal streets... |
14.8lbs 18x9
+ clears the brembos on sport pack http://www.the370z.com/wheels-tires/...g-qf-370z.html |
potholes are only really a concern if you are driving w/ cheap cast wheels... unless you are driving it like you stole it over them.... forged wheels can take QUITE a beating....

I was thinking of following Nismo's example and going with 9.5 and 10.5 width. Do you think they'll do those widths and appropriate offsets in that wheel? (my guess is no). And thanks all for the comments about bending. I'm coming out of MR2-land, so I haven't had wheels this large to deal with. AW11 owners are experts at conserving rotational momentum (I've got ultralight 15s!) :icon17: |

I was thinking about going the 18 inch route as well but was wondering how would they look. |
For the track I have been thinking of 9.5x18's on all four corners with maybe 275's. It would allow for tire rotation but I believe you would have to use spacers to do it right if you wanted the same offset on the wheels.
Anyone done this yet? |

Also, are these forged? I know, a lot of questions... sorry. |

Edit: http://fatlace.com/lacedup/wp-conten...1/03/370_1.jpg He says they are "9,5 x 10,5 et11" but does not mention diameter. I assume 19's. Video: CE28 Bronze Edit 2: how big of a tire can you fit on 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12 |

275/35-18 which are 25.4" tall. Stock is 26.6/ With the car lowered, I wound up scraping the bottom of the bumper where it meets the undertray (stillen bumper) every time I hit a braking zone and completely ground that part of the bumper away. Now I run 295/40-18 Hoosiers, which are 27.3" tall, but they get the job done. This is an early shot of my car with the 275s on it and lowered only on eibachs. http://imageshack.us/a/img43/7987/49136604.jpg this is it with the 295s: http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...65923974_n.jpg |
Anyone know how big of a tire can you fit on 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12??
Assume Swift springs and roll if necessary. |
