Congrats! Im waiting for my f14s to arrive. I went 19x9 +20 front. How do your 19x9+24's fit?? Do you think if you went +20 the fit might be a bit better? I see a lot of people go +24 on the 19x9. Will my + 20 be too aggressive????

kenchan 05-01-2011 01:25 PM

ZEDHEAD looks good!

Alchemy- appearance wise unless your car is lowered +27 19x9 is the max id go. Depending on the tire lower offsets can look good. :) the tires stick out too much when you look at the car from the front.

Alchemy 05-01-2011 01:28 PM

Im dropping it on swifts, waiting for those to arrive as well.

They stick out a little in the front but it's not very noticeable. +20 would be very appealing to the eye, wouldn't worry about being overly aggressive. The wheels just look so amazing whatever offset you choose(keep in mind a 4 mm difference isn't much). What did you select for the rear size/offset? What finish?

oleg 05-01-2011 11:50 PM

Did you get spacers in the rear and when did u order your because i placed my order almost 2 months ago now and they still aren't here.

I went 19x11 +23 rear. Did the finish in Bronze Burst, excited to see what they look like since I have barely been able to find pics of that colorway.

I ordered about 3 weeks ago and was told 5-7 weeks. The rear 19x11 were backordered and on a ship coming here. That added two weeks to my build time. I really hope I dont go over the 2 month mark. My tires are bald so I cant drive my Z until that rim/tire package gets here :( Hang in there man it'll be worth it. What sizes / color you go with?

Oh and I didnt order spacers. Although I def think ill need at least a 5mm in the rear. I really wanna get away without spacers though. Have to wait and see how they look.

rarwz 05-02-2011 07:33 AM

Tomorrow (5/3) I ordered 6 weeks ago, got my shipping codes last friday, should be here on thursday. AKA 6 weeks and 2 days to get mine.

Mike 05-02-2011 08:14 AM

took me about 5 weeks until they shipped. Patience.

I got the same specs as the op just in matte black. I wanted to also go without spacers but their offsets won't go lower than +20 so I'll have to run 15mm spacers in the rear. How many miles do you have on your car that the tires are bald already?

At 21000 miles. Tires completely bald, dangerously bald lol. Yeah I have a feeling im gonna need rear spacers :(

ZEDHEAD what lug nuts are you using on that. Ive been trying to do a lot of research on them and the only once i came up with were buddy club steel lugs and project kick caliber 24 steel lugs, but i really dont want to spend $100 on lugs.

Who did you order from oleg?? Im supposed to get an "installation kit " with mine, hopefully they are the right ones. This is my first time dealing with aftermarket wheels and I have been a bit confused on what the proper lug would be.

I ordered my wheels from vivid racing. My first time dealing with anything aftermarket but its supposed to be a different lug than the stock one. Something like a 60 degree angle on the part that will contact the wheel. From the research ive done about lugs I learned that steel lugs wont strip nearly as easy as aluminum if you take ur wheels off more often they are also stronger and many who run on the track will run steel lugs. Aluminum is fine if you're just daily driving, I just want that extra piece of mind knowing that my wheels are secured better. Also open lugs will rust easier inside but with proper care it shouldnt be a problem, people just forget to take care of that part.

I checked out a couple of wheel shops here in town and was disappointed with selection and price. The tire shop where I had my wheels mounted supplied them for $40 (spline locking set with a key.) They are not a permanent solution but enough to get me going.

I think I'm just going to go with this. They are the least expensive open ended lugs i can find that are steel. What do you guys think of them?

Any cone style lug (12 x 1.25) will work with them, but I would verify with the company you ordered from because there are 3 different styles of lug nuts: Cone, Ball and Washer...In any event if you get the wrong ones most wheel shops will carry what you need.
