Freacking Wheel lock

So... I have a flat in the rear... and I think someone stole my wheel lock adapter...

questions are as follows:

1) how the hell do you get the thing off?

1a) If I just need that one piece... do i have to buy the entire set with nuts and all?

1b) is there a way to crack it off?

2) Anyone have one they want to sell?

you check the trunk, glove box, and the owners's manual compartment behind the passenger seat?

Youtube they have some decent videos of getting wheel locks off.

Minor update if anyone for those who want the info.

Apparently you can register your wheel locks with Nissan, and when you loose the key, you call up, pay $10 and they send you the replacement.

Since mine were given to me with the purchase of the car, I never had that registration paper given to me, and now cannot do this.

There are 10 different keys for the 370z, so i am going to have to destroy a socket to get it out, and then buy a new pair of locks.

btw... Nissan does have the entire set of master keys... so if you can get to the dealer you are good to go.

how bad is the flat? If it's just a nail or something you can plug it from the outside, pump air and drive to dealer to get the wheel off.

Tis what i plan on doing... the tire is on the floor... but last night i saw the low pressure put air, and got home... some 28 miles... so If i can get air in it.. i am golden.

Most tire shops can get them off. One of the 240z's I bought once had wheel locks and no key and I got them all removed for about 25 dollars.

If it's able to hold air? fill it with a pump or fill with a can of fix a flat and drive it to a tire shop, most of them have run into problem and may probably hammer in a socket to loosen it.

I would only use fix-a-flat as a last resort. This will ruin your tire, TPMS sensor and make a mess of the inside of your wheel.

I took mine off the day I got home...

If you can get the car to the dealer they usually have one of each of the lock adapters and could remove the nut for you. Once they've figured out the lock pattern they can order you a spare key.

If you want to avoid the dealer the only option will be to buy a new set of locks and to remove the old ones by brute force methods such as hammering on a tight fitting socket or using a removal tool.

Any mechanic can get that off for you. I know I always forget to bring my wheel lock when I have brought my jeep in, in the past, and they always get them off...
