tom,
you don't think there is too much of a stagger running 265/305 vs. I heard people say you're better of going 275/305? what do you think?

Where in the Bay Area are you? I would not mind seeing your setup in person sometime and comparing to the Michelin PSS's I just put on a few weeks ago.

Honestly I just copied what most with the te37's run. Was a bit worried about rubbing with the 275 up front. Some more time and I can answer your question better aftwer some driving

305/30/19 and 265/35/19 pics to follow. They look so mean. Wrapped them around my new volk te37's. Finally flush

265/35/19 & 305/30/19 has a staggered section width difference of 1.58 = more understeer than OEM staggered section width of 1.18.

Yup the 275/35/19 & 305/30/19 is dialed right on at 1.18

Now try 265/35/19 & 285/35/19 which is at 0.79 = less understeer

I agree the 275's may have rubbing issues, also depends on your drop. Running stock height probably no rubbing issues.

Z,
Would you recommend to go with 265/35/19 & 285/35/19 over 265/35/19 & 305/30/19, if i'm planning on going with Swifts spec -R sports springs? it gives a 1 1/2" drop in the front and 1" Rear.

ZForce 05-04-2011 02:11 PM

I have heard from reputable members on this forum, that the 305/30/19 will fit on the sport rims but they feel the tire is too large for the rim. I also have 25mm spacers in the rear so 305's would stick out too much. The 285's on 25mm wheel spacers is perfect IMO.

The 265/35/19 up front work perfect with the Swift Spec-R springs (I have them) with no rubbing at all. Again I am on 20mm wheel spacers.

Awesome Z,
I'll stick with the 265/35/19 & 285/35/19 size. Rep for you:tup:

^Thanks, hopefully I will have some photos of my new setup posted up soon. Probably going to open a new thread showing off this awesome setup as it appears I may the first.

Just got the S-04 pole Positions. Maybe 40 miles on them BUT they are definitely quieter than either the Potenzas or Advans. Had both.

40 miles in you really have no idea what they will sound like.

Maybe I am in the wrong world, $1200 for a set of tires seems like a load to me
