Thanks Rick +0 ftw..but +12?

Well I'm bored here at work so I figured I'd make a thread.

Me and Rick over at VIP Status have been talking for a few weeks now and we are gonna get some wheels ordered. Hopefully they will arrive next month.

19x10.5+0 for the rear and 19x9.5+12 for the front. He tried a +0 on the front and said even for a guy that likes aggressive offsets it was too aggressive for him lol

anyone else running a +12 on the front? if so, post up some pics please. :pics:

Lots of gus running te-37s are running 12 up front. Search for pis of those or there's a vaersteon wheel thread on here with a 12 fitment showing the poke.

I have 18 offset up front and it pokes considerably. I wouldn't even consider 0 up front an option.

That's the look I'm going for...just a little wider in the back  What tire size is that?

MUST 04-02-2011 12:33 AM

I like the rim fitment. What is the rear? Is your front tire really
a 225/35?

Do you think a +0 with 275s will rub? what you said means you were running a +2 and it rubbed.. :/

MUST 04-03-2011 05:29 AM

ya it rubbed when i was running +2 with a 285 tire, which was why i eventually switched them out for a 275 tire...but before those tires came in, i sold my 10mm spacer to buy the 5mm.

my shop friends spec'd my setup to run +2 in the rear with a 275 tire with my camber (which is -2.something, and not running a camber kit) and that it wouldn't rub, but i don't have physical proof of it.

dirTy_shoeZ 04-04-2011 10:21 AM

i had a 275/30 on an 11.5 +0 with a 5mm spacer and no camber kit and still had plenty room.
